Crown Of The Continent — abstract landscape painting of the Crown of the Continent, Glacier National Park by Montana artist W.J. Boone

Crown Of The Continent

Abstract landscape · the Crown of the Continent, Glacier National Park

Crown of the Continent Going to the Sun road is one of the most breath-taking drives in the world.

Once, you arrive at the top there is a hike to Hidden Lake, which is referred to as the crown of the continent.

It is majestic and just being there makes you feel like you are in a place that deserves reverence.

This painting was created from a viewpoint along the rim of the mountain looking down on Hidden Lake.

If someone asks me about where to go in Montana, this would be one of my first recommendations.

A day trip here is a day full of adventure, wildlife and beauty.

When I look at this place it awakens the adventurous spirit within me - a quiet summon "the mountains are calling”.
